mEsa Verde, RiMROCK & TIDEWATER RR
Bill Merrill, a retired professor
who specialised in Xmas trees (honest) from Pennsylvania was the General Manager
for the Mesa Verde, Rimrock & Tidewater RR. Sadly, Bill died Jan. 29,
2003. The CGW had friendly ties to the MVRT for many years. There are two
MVRT cars travelling the CGW system and we even have a leased MVRT Geep, complete
with caboose.
The relationship between the two railroads has been a special one due to the
fact that we are virtually neighbours in the Four Corners area of the USA.
